Pricing
Every price, before you have to ask.
What a build costs, three ways to pay for it (including a monthly plan with nothing up front), and what it costs to look after once it's live. No form to fill in first, and no price range so wide it means nothing.
No templates. Not one.
Nothing here starts from someone else’s layout.
A lot of what's sold as web design around here is a theme someone bought, with your logo and photos dropped in. That's a real service with a real price. It's just not what we do. Every site we make is designed for one business, built from scratch, and owned outright by that business once it is paid for.
A theme bought from a marketplace and set up
A design made for your business, starting from a blank page
Your content poured into someone else’s structure
A layout built around how your business makes money
Ten plugins, each loading code for features you don't use
Only the code your site needs, which is why it's fast
Looks like the four other businesses using that theme
Looks like your business and no one else's
A license that expires, and a page builder you can't leave
Standard code you own, that any good developer can pick up
Whatever accessibility the theme happens to have
Accessibility built in and tested toward WCAG 2.2 AA, the common standard, on your real pages
Most studios charge a lot more for custom work than for a theme install, and usually that's fair. Our prices sit right alongside theme installs. So you aren't being asked to pay extra for custom work.
The build
Three kinds of website, priced by what they do.
Every one is designed from scratch for your business, built to be fast, and yours once it is paid for. They all get the same care and the same design standard. What changes is how much the site does after someone lands on it.
Most projects
Foundation
A website that tells people who you are and how to reach you.
$355a month
Nothing down, 18 months, plus $45/mo hostingor $5,500 total, $4,950 paid in full

- A design made for your business from scratch, with no templates or page builders
- Art direction made for your category: the type, the color and the way it moves
- The pages you need, planned with you before anything is designed
- The writing done for you: an interview, a first draft and a round of changes on every page
- A contact form that sends inquiries straight to your inbox
- Fast on every phone, and built with accessibility in mind from the start
- Set up to be found on Google, including your Business Profile and local search basics
- Your old links redirected, so nothing you have shared or ranked for breaks

- Thirty days after launch to fix anything that is not right, at no charge
Signature
A website that does some of the work for you.
$545a month
Nothing down, 18 months, plus $45/mo hostingor $8,500 total, $7,650 paid in full
Four to six weeks

- Everything in Foundation
- Online ordering, booking or quote requests, saved and organized

Systems
Software your business runs on.
from$960a month
Nothing down, 18 months, plus $45/mo hostingor $15,000 total, $13,500 paid in full
Eight weeks and up
For when you need more than a website: customer accounts, member areas, staff dashboards, or tools that connect to the systems you already use. We plan it closely with you, build it in stages you can try along the way, and test it properly before anyone depends on it.
- Everything in Signature
- Customer logins, member areas or client portals
- Staff tools and dashboards, designed as carefully as the public site
- The right access for each person, whether owner, staff or customer
- Connections to tools you already use, like your POS, CRM or scheduling software
- Memberships, subscriptions or recurring billing, if you need them
- Built in stages, with something working for you to try at each step
- Ninety days of close support after launch
Not sure which fits? Tell us what you need the site to do and we'll tell you honestly, even when the answer is the cheaper one. If you'd like help with the writing or the photos, those are add-ons below and work with any tier. Your price is agreed in writing before we start, and it only changes if what we're building changes.
These are what the three builds usually cost and include. Before anything starts, you'll sign a written scope. That sets your exact price and what you get, and if it ever disagrees with this page, the signed scope is what counts.

What the owners said afterward.
Both are from our Google Business Profile, quoted in full. Read them on Google
Amazing! Anthony created a perfect site for our AirBnB without any creative direction from us. He's a joy to work with and very quick on turnarounds. In a world of websites that has become increasingly homogenous, [Digital Wonders'] work truly rises above the noise.
Kevin L.Owner, Nostos Beach House · See the project I had a great experience working with Digital Wonders on the design and rebuild of my website. The entire process was professional, smooth, and focused on bringing my vision to life. Anthony, the main developer I worked with, was knowledgeable, responsive, and took the time to understand what I wanted for my business. I really appreciated his creativity, attention to detail, and recommendations for helping my brand grow. I'm very pleased with the results and would highly recommend Digital Wonders to anyone looking for professional website design and development services.

How you pay
Three ways to pay. One starts at zero.
Same build, three ways to pay. Pay up front and take 10% off. Pay half now and half when it's done. Or put nothing down and pay monthly, starting after your site is built and live. We agree the price in writing before work starts, and it won't change unless the scope does. Only the timing changes, and paying over time costs more than paying now.
Best price
Paid in full
$4,950once
$550 off the agreed price. That’s 10% off for paying before we start.
One invoice, paid before work starts, and you get 10% off the agreed price. We'd rather have the money up front than carry the risk, and that's worth a discount to us. After that there's nothing else to think about, and the design and code are fully yours from launch day.
Best for You have the cash and want the lowest price.
Most common
Half now, half on delivery
$2,750now
Then $2,750 when the site is finished, before it goes live. No fee, and nothing added to the price.
The first half books your spot and starts the work. The second half isn't due until you've seen what you're paying for. That way we share the risk with you.
Best for Most projects, and anyone who wants us sharing the risk.
Zero deposit
Monthly, nothing up front
$355/month
18 payments, $0 down. The last payment is $290. The plan total is $6,325, which is $825 more than paying on delivery.
With hosting, which the plan requires: $400 a month$355 build + $45 hosting, for 18 months. Every care plan includes hosting, so if you choose one, it replaces the $45 instead of adding to it. After the last payment, you can host the site wherever you like.
We design, build and launch your site before your first payment. There's no credit check and no outside lender. Your agreement is with us. Paying over time costs more than paying now, and the plan fee shown above is the whole of that extra cost. It's fixed on the day you sign, and it's all set out in a written payment agreement.
Best for A healthy business with a good reason to keep its cash for now.

Monthly amounts include the plan fee of 10% a year on the balance. So twelve months costs one year of it, and eighteen months costs a year and a half. They are rounded up to the nearest five dollars, and the last payment on each plan is smaller to make up the difference.
- The monthly plan is a written payment agreement between you and us. There's no credit check and no one else involved. The total is fixed on the day you sign.
- Monthly payments are rounded up to the nearest five dollars. The last payment makes up the difference, so it's always smaller.
- The plan fee depends on how long we carry the balance, so the eighteen-month plan costs more in total than the twelve-month one. You'll see both totals above before you choose.
- While the plan runs, your site is hosted with us for $45 a month. That's charged on top of your monthly payment, not inside it. We show the combined amount above, so it's never a surprise on an invoice. Every care plan includes hosting, so if you choose one, it replaces the hosting charge instead of adding to it.
- If you miss payments, we'll write to you first and give you a reasonable amount of time. Only after that can we suspend the site until the account is up to date. It has never happened. It's in the agreement so no one has to guess.
- You can pay off the balance early at any time. If you do, the plan fee goes down in proportion to the months you didn't use.
Your domain, your content and your customer data are yours from day one and are never held as security. Title to the design and the code transfers on the final payment. Until then the site is licensed to you and runs exactly as it would if you had bought it outright.
Logo and brand identity
On its own, or with your website.
Most people who ask for a logo need more than a logo. What they've noticed is that their sign, site, invoices and Instagram look like four different businesses. Both options give you source files you own outright on final payment, and you can buy either one without a website.
The mark
Your colors and fonts already work. Your logo doesn't.
$850
$680 with a build
One to two weeks
Your logo, delivered as every file you'll actually need, not one image file someone has to keep cropping.
- Two or three different directions, each with the thinking behind it
- A main logo plus wide, stacked and one-color versions
- Browser-tab and app icons made properly, not squashed down
- Source files that scale to any size, print-ready colors, and every image size you'll be asked for
- Tested at the sizes people will see it: browser tab, embroidery, signage
- A one-page guide to using it, and full ownership of the source files on final payment
Most projects
Identity system
Your sign, site, invoices and Instagram look like four different businesses.
$1,950
$1,560 with a build
Two to three weeks
Your logo plus everything that ties it together, so the next person making a flyer has something to work from instead of guessing.
- Everything in The mark
- A color palette with every pairing checked for readable contrast against WCAG 2.2 AA
- A headline font and an everyday font, with the sizes and weights to use
- Your logo shown in real use: signage, a shirt, a vehicle, a social media profile picture
- A short brand guide, short enough that people actually read it
- Font licenses checked and priced, so a web license isn't a surprise later
Both are 20% less when you buy them with a build, because the same decisions get made once instead of twice.
Add to a build
Optional extras.
We don't hold anything back from the builds above just to sell it back to you. Every build is a finished website without these. They're here because some projects need them and most don't, and a price that assumes everyone needs everything is wrong for everyone.
Photos, arranged for you
$950 + shoot costs
Anyone whose only photos were taken on a phone in 2019.
We plan a shot list around the design, brief and book a photographer in Houston, and direct the shoot so the photos fit your pages instead of being cropped to fit. The photographer's fee is theirs, billed separately at cost.
A second language, done properly
from $1,200
Half of Houston, and most of the businesses serving it.
Every page in Spanish as a real page search engines can find, not a translate button that mangles your words on the fly. We arrange professional translation and bill it at cost. This price is the build work that makes the Spanish site as good as the English one, not an afterthought.
Local search setup
$450
Anyone who should show up on a map and doesn't.
We claim your Google Business Profile and fill it in properly. We get the main directories to agree on your name, address and phone number, and set up the behind-the-scenes code on your site so search engines read the same details. This lays the groundwork. It isn't a ranking. No one can sell you a top spot, and anyone who says they can is selling you something else.
Bringing your old posts across
from $350
Years of posts on the old site that still bring people in.
We move your existing articles to the new site and keep their web addresses the same, with their images resized. Posts that aren't worth keeping are redirected somewhere useful. The usual approach is to leave them behind and lose whatever they ranked for.
Starting sooner
+15% of the build
A lease signed, a season starting, an opening date already announced.
Your project moves to the front of the line and runs on a tighter schedule. It costs extra because it pushes other work back and means working evenings. You're paying for a spot at the front of the calendar, not a promised date. If our schedule can't fit it, we'll tell you and won't charge for it.
Ways to pay less
Our discounts, and what each one is for.
Each discount is a fair trade, so we show what we get next to what you get. Nothing here expires on Friday. And there's no discount for leaving a review. That breaks Google's rules and the FTC's rule on consumer reviews, and a review earned that way can be taken down and the business penalized.
10% off the build
Paying in full
One invoice, paid before work starts. On a $5,500 Foundation build, that's $550 off. The planner above already applies it, so you don't have to ask.
What we getCertainty, and no invoices to chase. That's worth real money to a small studio.
20% off the identity work
Identity bought with a build
An identity system is $1,950 on its own and $1,560 with a build. It costs less because it's less work: the colors, fonts and logo get decided once, alongside the site they'll live on, instead of twice.
What we getOne set of decisions instead of two, and no colors that need redoing later.
$350 credited in full
An audit you already paid for
If you buy a website audit and hire us within ninety days, the whole fee comes off your build. The audit is priced to be worth it on its own, and you shouldn't pay twice for the same look at your site.
What we getA client who already knows what's wrong, which makes everything quicker.
$500 off the build
Letting the work be published
You let us publish your project as a case study: the site before, the site after, the problem, and what we built. You don't have to say anything about us, and you don't have to like the result. Nothing confidential goes up, and you see the case study before it's published.
What we getA published before-and-after, which is the most useful thing a new studio can have.
$1,000 off the build
Being based in Cypress
For businesses located in Cypress (77429 or 77433), because we're here too. You can combine it with paying in full, but not with the case-study discount. If both apply, you get the larger one.
What we getWork our neighbors walk past, and meetings that take a short drive instead of an afternoon.
$500 credit
Sending someone who signs
If a business you refer hires us, you get $500 off your own balance or your care plan. It's applied when their project starts, not when they first get in touch. There's no limit and no expiry date. If you'd rather the credit went to them, it can.
What we getNew clients through word of mouth, which costs nothing and works better than anything else.
Twelve months for eleven
Paying for care a year at a time
Pay for any care plan a year at a time and you pay for eleven months instead of twelve: $1,650 instead of $1,800 on Kept running. You can still cancel. If you stop partway through, we refund the months you haven't used.
What we getSteady, predictable income, and eleven fewer invoices to send and chase.
After launch
Looking after your site once it's live.
The tools behind websites keep changing, browsers update, and content gets out of date. A site that was right on launch day can be quietly wrong a year and a half later. We recommend a care plan for every site, but no build requires one, and you can cancel any month.
Recommended
Kept running
Most sites, and every Foundation build
$150/month
It stays fast, current, backed up and secure.
- Hosting, domain and security certificates, monitored
- Updates to the software your site runs on, applied and tested
- Daily backups, and a restore we’ve actually tested
- Small text and content edits, up to an hour a month
- A yearly accessibility and speed check
Kept improving
Anyone still changing their site every month, whatever they built
$450/month
Everything above, plus a standing block of studio time that doesn’t expire into nothing.
- Everything in Kept running
- Four hours of design and build work each month, used however you like
- New pages, sections and campaign landing pages, within those hours
- Search, speed and accessibility checked regularly, not just assumed
- A working session every quarter on what the site should do next
Retained
Systems builds, where the site is software your staff use every day
$1,100/month
The studio on call, for businesses where the website runs part of the day-to-day operation and isn’t just a brochure.
- Everything in Kept improving
- Ten hours of design and build work each month
- Priority turnaround, and a direct line instead of a queue
- Planning and strategy sessions every month, not every quarter
- For regulated practices: a scheduled review of published claims, credentials and dated awards before they go out of date
You don’t have to have a care plan. We recommend one for every site, and every plan can be canceled any month. Your domain and content are always yours, and the site and code are yours once the build is paid for, plan or no plan. A payment plan only requires hosting, which every care plan already includes.
A plan is studio hours, not insurance. Kept running is the floor and the honest answer for most sites; everything above it is ongoing design and build work, bought monthly rather than in a lump. Over a few years those upper tiers will total more than the build did, which is what buying continuous work means and not a sign the build was underpriced. If nothing needs doing in a given month, you are on the wrong tier and we will say so.
Before you hire anyone
Get an honest look at the site you have now.
$350
Website audit
Someone else built your site, and you suspect it's costing you business.
For a site we didn't build. We look at the design, speed, accessibility and how it shows up in search. You get a written report with a list of what to fix, most important first. If you hire us for a build within ninety days, the full fee comes off the price.
There's no obligation, and you don't have to sit through a sales call to get it. If your site is fine, that's what the report will say.
Everything else
Hosting, hourly rates and small jobs.
What one small change costs. What hosting on its own costs. What happens if something breaks on a Saturday. Here are the answers.
Hosting and domain only
$45/month
We host your site and handle security certificates, daily backups and checking that it stays online. No studio hours are included. It's for a site that doesn't need those yet, and it's the one thing a payment plan requires while it runs. Cancel any month, as long as nothing is still owed.
Small changes, on request
$95/hour
Text edits, a new photo, a price change, a seasonal banner. One hour minimum, then billed in fifteen-minute steps. You don't need a plan.
Extra hours on a plan
$85/hour
For a month when you need more than your plan includes. If you're on a plan, you pay this rate, never the on-request rate. And we never bill anything you haven't agreed to first.
A new page on your site
from $450
A service page, a location page or a page for a campaign. It's designed to match the site you already have, so it never looks tacked on.
Same-day and out-of-hours
$160/hour
For things that can't wait until Monday. Clients on the Retained plan never pay this. We list it so no one has to ask.
Where this sits locally
Priced like the local market. Not built like it.
Around Houston and Cypress, a small-business website costs anything from a few hundred dollars, for a freelancer installing a theme, to roughly $4,000 to $12,000 at a typical agency. Most quotes here land in that middle range. And most of what you get for that money is a theme someone bought, with your logo dropped in.
We start at $5,500. That's inside the range and below the middle of it. The difference isn't the price. It's that nothing here starts from someone else’s layout. For similar money you get an original design, no theme underneath, accessibility that's tested rather than assumed, and your old web addresses redirected so the search traffic you already have carries over.
So the useful question isn't which quote is cheaper. It's what each one leaves you with at the end: a license to someone else’s theme, or a site that belongs to you and that any good developer can work on next.
Straight answers
The questions that come up on every call.
Do you use templates or themes?
No, none at all. There's no marketplace theme, no page builder and no starter layout under any site we make. Every project is designed from a blank page for one business and built with standard code that's the client's once it's paid for. Most studios charge more for that, and usually it's fair: a theme install and a custom build are different products that happen to share a name, and custom normally costs more. Here, it doesn't.
Can I pay monthly instead of up front?
Yes, with nothing up front. We design, build and launch your site, then you pay a fixed amount each month over 12 or 18 months. The plan fee is 10% a year on the balance. So twelve months costs one year of it, and eighteen months costs a year and a half. That's the whole difference between paying now and paying later. There's no credit check and no lender, and the total is fixed on the day you sign the payment agreement. A $5,500 Foundation build is $355 a month for 18 months with nothing down, $6,325 in total. You can pay it off early at any time, and the plan fee goes down in proportion to the months you didn't use.
What happens if I stop paying part-way through a payment plan?
Your domain, your content and your customer data are yours from day one, and we never hold them as security. That doesn't change. Ownership of the design and the code passes to you with the final payment. Until then, the site is licensed to you. If payments stop, we'll write to you and give you a reasonable amount of time. Only after that can the site be suspended until the account is up to date. It has never happened. We wrote the rule down so no one has to guess what would happen.
How does this compare to the other quotes I have had in Houston?
On price, it's close. Small-business sites around Houston and Cypress usually cost between $4,000 and $12,000. We start at $5,500, which is inside that range and below the middle. On what you get, it's not close. At that price you usually get a theme someone bought, set up with your content. Nothing here starts from someone else’s layout. For similar money you get an original design, no theme underneath, accessibility built and tested toward WCAG 2.2 AA, and your old web addresses redirected instead of left to break. If a quote you have is much cheaper, it's worth asking whether it's a theme. That's not a trick question. It changes what you're buying, and a theme install is a real service that should cost less than this.
Is the monthly care plan required?
No. We recommend a care plan for every site, but no build requires one, and you can cancel any plan any month. A zero-down payment plan does need one thing while it runs: hosting with us, at $45 a month, on top of your monthly build payment. Every care plan already includes hosting, so if you choose one, you don't pay for hosting twice. The planner above shows the combined monthly amount, so you don't have to add it up.
What else does a site with ordering, booking or accounts cost to run?
Hosting covers the website itself. Signature and Systems builds also use a few outside services: a database, an email service for confirmations, and often a card payment provider. We set those up in your own accounts, so your customer data is in your name and the provider bills you directly. For most small businesses that's roughly $25 to $75 a month to start, plus card fees on what you sell. It only goes up if your business grows. We'll give you the expected cost in writing before the build starts.
What does one small change cost if I'm not on a plan?
$95 an hour, with a one-hour minimum, then billed in fifteen-minute steps. That covers things like text edits, a new photo, a price change or a seasonal banner. If you're on a care plan, small edits are included up to your plan's hours. Anything beyond that is $85 an hour, the plan rate, never the on-request rate.
Do I own the website?
Yes. The code, the design and the domain are yours, built on standard technology any good developer can pick up. There's no license to renew, no page builder that locks you in, and no way that leaving us means losing your site. On a payment plan, ownership of the design and code passes to you with the final payment. Everything else is yours from day one.
What does a logo cost, and can I get one without a website?
A logo on its own is $850 and the full identity system is $1,950. You can buy either without a website, and plenty of businesses need a brand before anything else. With a build they're 20% less ($680 and $1,560). That's a real saving, not a sales trick: the colors, fonts and logo get decided once, alongside the site they'll live on, instead of twice. You own the source files outright on final payment.
Is there a discount if I leave you a review?
No, and there won't be. Google's policies don't allow incentivized reviews. The FTC's rule on consumer reviews treats paying for a review based on what it says as deceptive. A review gotten that way can be removed, and the business that asked for it can be penalized. What we offer instead is $500 off the build for permission to publish your project as a case study. That pays for the before-and-after screenshots and the write-up. You don't have to say anything about us, and you keep the discount whether you like the result or not.
How accurate is the price you quote at the start?
It's the price. We agree the scope and write it down before work starts, and the build price is fixed for that scope. We don't bill builds by the hour, and you won't get an invoice bigger than you expected. If you decide partway through that you want something outside what we agreed, we'll talk it through and write up the change, priced before we build it. Most projects run two to six weeks, depending on complexity.
