Digital Wonders is based in Cypress. We don't just drive out here for meetings, and this isn't a page written to chase a search. The studio is here. The founder moved his family here in 2021, and the businesses on this page are the ones we drive past.
That matters less than some agencies claim, but it does matter. It doesn't make the work better: a site for a business in Katy or Manzanita gets the same standard. What it changes is this. Meeting in person is easy, not a big event. We already know the roads and the communities you sell into. And there's someone local who answers for the result.
Why selling in Cypress is its own problem
Cypress is unincorporated. There's no city government, no downtown, and no main street where a good sign and years in the same spot bring people in. Businesses are spread along 290, Barker Cypress, Fry and the Grand Parkway, and inside communities like Bridgeland, Towne Lake, Fairfield and Coles Crossing. Most people drive out of those communities, not through them.
So almost no one finds a Cypress business by walking past it. Your website and your Google Business Profile do the job a storefront does in a town with a square. When they're weak, there's no foot traffic to make up for it. In a walkable neighborhood, a tired site costs you some customers. Out here, it costs you the ones who never knew you existed.
The referral you've earned, and how a website can lose it
Most work around here starts with a name. Someone asks a neighborhood group who they use for a leaking pump, a bracket, a birthday cake, and gets three answers. What happens next decides everything. Those three names get typed into a phone that evening, often in bed, on a weaker connection than yours.
So your website usually doesn't need to win over a total stranger. It needs to confirm, in about eight seconds, that the name someone recommended is the real thing. That's a different job, and a much easier one to get right. Here's what it takes:
- It loads on a phone with a weak signal, because that's where people check
- What you do and the area you cover are in the first line, not tucked away on an About page
- Proof is visible without scrolling: real photos of real work, and the reviews you already have
- There's one obvious next step, and it's one you can actually handle
- Hours, service area and whether you're taking new work are up to date, because a wrong answer here loses the job
- It looks like a business someone would recommend by name, which is the whole reason they're on it
Who we build for around here
We don't specialize in one industry, but there's a pattern. It's usually an owner-run business that has become better than its website shows, where choosing the business means choosing the people behind it.
- Dental, orthodontic and medical practices
- Home services: pools, HVAC, plumbing, roofing, electrical
- Gyms, studios and martial arts academies
- Restaurants, bakeries and food businesses, including online ordering you own instead of rent
- Trades and professional services with a service area instead of a storefront
- Businesses elsewhere in greater Houston, which is most of our work
Web design and web development, from the same studio
Around here, the two usually come as two separate bills. One person designs the pages. Someone else gets hired later to make the booking form, the ordering, the customer portal or the inventory actually work, and they quietly change the first person's design along the way. You can see the join on a lot of local sites: a good-looking homepage in front of a booking tool from 2016.
We do both halves here, in one build, as one project. That matters most for Cypress businesses that need more than a brochure: a practice taking bookings, a shop taking orders, a trade that needs job requests to land somewhere useful instead of an inbox. We design what your customers see and the system behind it together, and at the end the code is handed over in your name.
Where we work, past the Cypress line
Cypress has no boundary anyone can point to, and neither do the businesses in it. Customers and referrals travel the same roads either way, so our work follows them: across Cy-Fair and its communities, out to Jersey Village, Tomball, Hockley and Waller, and south into Katy and the rest of northwest Harris County.
We don't claim to be the local expert in all of those places. It's simply where the drive is short enough that meeting in person is normal, not a special trip. Work in the rest of greater Houston, and work nowhere near Texas, happens the way it always has: online, to the same standard.
Being found in a Cypress search
Search for a trade or a practice in Cypress and you'll see how it works: a directory or two, then the map results, then the websites. Getting into the map results mostly happens off your website, through your Business Profile, consistent listings, and reviews. Your site backs that up with structured data (behind-the-scenes labels that help Google understand your pages), pages for the areas you serve, and the speed that makes the rest believable.
No one outside Google controls the results, so no one can promise you a spot. A studio that does is guessing with confidence. What we can control are all the ordinary reasons a good local business ranks below a worse one, and we handle those carefully.
What it costs
Builds start at $5,500, and most run $5,500 to $15,000+. There's a monthly option with nothing up front. After launch, a care plan from $150 a month keeps your site up to date so it doesn't quietly age. Every price is published on the pricing page, including the less flattering ones.
If a smaller project would serve you better than the one you came for, we'll say so. Cypress is a small place to build a reputation, and the fastest way to lose one here is to sell someone something they didn't need.
Work that shows it
Common questions
Are you actually based in Cypress?
Yes, and we have been since the day we opened. Cypress isn't a market we added later. We're a service-area business, not a storefront, so there's no office to visit. But meeting somewhere local is easy, and no one has to plan around a drive downtown.
Do you work with businesses in Bridgeland, Towne Lake, Fairfield and the rest of Cy-Fair?
Yes, and across greater Houston too. The community your business is in changes your audience and how referrals reach you more than it changes the build. It's worth talking about early, because it shapes what your site needs to prove.
How much does a website cost in Cypress?
Around here, prices run from a few hundred dollars for a template install to the high five figures at a Houston agency. Our builds start at $5,500 and most run $5,500 to $15,000+, which is within the local range, not above it. The difference is that nothing starts from someone else's layout. The price also includes the planning and structure work that makes a design actually mean something. Care after launch starts at $150 a month and is separate.
Is there a discount for Cypress businesses?
Yes. A business located in Cypress (77429 or 77433) gets $1,000 off any build. The studio is here too, so meeting is a short drive, and a site for a business down the road is one your neighbors will see. It combines with the paid-in-full discount, but not with the case-study credit: if both apply, you get the larger one. Every way to bring a price down is listed on the pricing page.
Can you get my business to the top of Google for my trade in Cypress?
No honest studio can promise that, because no one but Google controls the results. What we can do is the work that decides it in practice: a Business Profile set up properly, consistent listings, a site fast enough on a phone to keep the people who click, structured data, and pages that answer what people actually search for, not what you call things inside your business.
Do you build the ordering, booking or admin side as well as the design?
Yes, and it's part of the same project, not a second quote. Ordering, booking, customer accounts, an owner admin, and connections to the tools you already use are all web development. Splitting that off from the design is how a lot of local sites end up with a good-looking front and a rented widget behind it. It's all one build, and the code is yours at the end.
Do you only work with Cypress businesses?
No, most of our work is elsewhere. Being here is a convenience, not a specialty. A business in Katy, Tomball or Oregon gets the same standard and the same attention.
We serve Cypress but we are not based here. Does this still apply?
Yes, and the service-area problem is often bigger for you than for a business with a Cypress address. Two things most often separate the trades that get called from the ones that don't: a site that names the areas you actually cover, and a Business Profile set up as a service-area business, not a storefront. (The Cypress discount itself is only for businesses located in Cypress.)
