Digital Wonders is a small studio based in Houston. We build websites for businesses here and elsewhere, and the work is the same either way: take a site that has stopped representing the company and rebuild it into one that wins work.
Being small is the point rather than a caveat. You work directly with the person doing the work. There is no account layer, no handoff between a designer who drew it and a developer who reinterpreted it, and no junior team assigned once the contract is signed.
Who we work with in Houston
The common thread is not industry or size. It is a business that has become more capable than its website admits — an independent shop that outgrew a Facebook page, an academy running two mismatched sites, a rental property whose site reads like a guest manual.
- Independent retail, food and beverage
- Gyms, studios and martial arts academies
- Hospitality and short-term rental
- Professional services and trades
- Established brands whose site no longer matches the company
Working with a local studio
Most of this work can be done from anywhere, and much of ours is. What being in Houston actually changes is narrower than agencies usually claim: we can meet in person when it matters, we work in your hours, and we have some feel for the market you are selling into.
What it does not change is the standard of the work. We would rather be honest about that than sell proximity as a substitute for craft.
What we do
Four connected offers rather than a menu of separable line items. Most engagements are a transformation — an existing site rebuilt — or a flagship, which is a site built from the position outward.
Being found locally
If you are searching for a web designer in Houston, you have already seen how the results work: directories at the top, then agencies with dedicated location pages, then the map. Getting a business into those results is a specific discipline, and it is part of what we do — structured data, local search fundamentals, Business Profile setup and the measurement to know whether any of it is working.
We are doing it for ourselves too, which is the honest reason this page exists.

Common questions
Where in Houston are you based?
We are a Houston-based studio operating as a service-area business rather than a storefront, so there is no office to visit. We meet clients in person around the city when a project calls for it, and work remotely otherwise.
Do you only work with Houston businesses?
No. We are based in Houston and work with clients anywhere. The process is the same remotely, and most of our collaboration happens in a browser regardless of where the client sits.
How much does a website cost in Houston?
The local market runs from a few hundred dollars for a template build up past $50,000 for enterprise work. Our engagements begin at $6,000, which reflects custom design and build rather than a theme, and includes the strategy and content work that makes the design mean something.
Can we meet in person?
Yes, for kickoff and key reviews if that is useful to you. Plenty of clients prefer to keep everything remote, and the work does not suffer either way.
Do you help with Google Business Profile and local search?
Yes. Local visibility is mostly won off the website — a properly configured Business Profile, consistent listings, and reviews — with the site providing the structured data and landing pages that support it. It is part of the digital foundations work.
